Boys Junior Varsity Soccer, Boys Varsity Soccer · Boys soccer ends season with a bang and looks on the Sectionals

Everything you could ask for was present for Senior night.  A hyped crowd.  A great opponent.  Beautiful weather.  And fantastic send off for three wonderful seniors.  The game would start off with a defensive miscommunication and Lebanon would pounce on the opportunity 2:00 into the game.  The Achaeans would not go away quickly.  Senior Parker Shelbourne would apply the pressure and cause Lebanon to have their own breakdown.  Herron went into the half at 1-1.  The crowd was rocking and having fun.  A wonderful halftime send off for Shelbourne, Langston Obie and Kahn Vo must have awakened the visitors.  The Tigers capitalized on a couple early mistakes and used two perfectly placed bombs to open up the game.  The Achaeans would fall 6-1.

The JV boys team faced Purdue Polytechnic HS earlier in the evening.  Sophomore Max Suess would get the scoring started for the Achaeans.  Sophomore Jonathan Burress played in goal for the first half and then scored two goals in the 2nd half to help Herron cruise to a 4-1 victory.  They would end the season with a 2-4-0 record which is better than the previous 2 years.

Friday night, the varsity team would play Crispus Attucks and win 12-3.  Shelbourne and Junior, Joe Moffatt would record hat tricks while Sophomores Christopher Wagner and Jonathon Burris, Senior Langston Obie and Freshman Mason Litvan would each add a goal.  Senior Kahn Vo also had two goals.  The varsity boys team would end the season with a 8-7-0 season.
