Hi athletes and parents!
Thank you to all who attended our Herron Track callout meeting. It is exciting to have everyone together to begin our season and we’re all looking forward to competing, pushing ourselves and spending time together in the coming months.
The following is a checklist of the requirements for joining presented at the Callout Meeting and some information about preseason conditioning in the coming weeks.
1. All athletes must complete the following before the first day of practice on Monday, February 15th.
a. Complete the required forms on “Final Forms”. All athletes must fill out the appropriate forms: https://indianapolisclassical-in.finalforms.com/
b. Join the Team Snap for easy and quick communication about practices and meets. If you’ve created a form, simply login again and make sure your account is working: https://go.teamsnap.com/forms/218534/
2. Athletes who have competed in a fall sport or winter sport have met the following requirements, but all others must do the following to attend preseason conditioning sessions.
a. Receive a physical and have it on file with our athletic director, Joanna Wiggins (firstname.lastname@example.org).
b. Complete and fill out the COVID Waiver form at the attached link. Athletes must fill out a hard copy and arrive with their waiver to be admitted to practice, if none is on file from a previous sport this year.
3. Preseason conditioning information:
a. Preseason conditioning will take place on Tuesdays and Fridays from 4:15-5:30 P.M in the Fesler parking lot at Herron. Our first session will take place this Friday, January 29th, at 4:15.
b. All athletes must wear masks when arriving to practice.
c. Due to COVID Protocol, athletes will need to bring their own supplies. Please bring a bag with water and warm clothes, as preseason conditioning will take place entirely outside this year.
d. Hybrid students can attend both days even when their cohort is not in school. Fully virtual students can also attend conditioning and regular practice.
