Achaeans Advance to 2nd Round of City Tournament

After being shutout Tuesday on Senior Night, the Achaeans felt like they had something to prove.  Saturday evening in the first round of the City Tournament, Herron took on Purdue Polytech.  After struggling the first 12 minutes of the game, Coach Jim Durrett made some changes to his lineup to proved to cause a spark.

The Boys Varsity Soccer game against George Washington originally scheduled for Wednesday, September 9, has been rescheduled for Friday, September 11, at 5:30.  Unfortunately Kuntz Stadium is still not allowing fans at this time.

Tuesday, August 18, couldn’t come any sooner.  The boys soccer team had this date circled on their calendar for months.  They were excited to get back on the pitch.  Maybe too excited.  Decatur took the early lead 3 minutes into the game with a beautiful cutback in the box and an upper 90 placed shot. 

Boys Soccer Tryout Schedule

Practices and conditioning have been going great.  We are excited yet cautious for the upcoming season.  We are practicing the week of July 27th from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Frank and Judy O’Bannon Soccer Complex. The tryout schedule for the Week of August 3rd is below: 8/3 – 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Senior Night at Kutnz Stadium – Time to Celebrate
