Roller Coaster Season For Boys Soccer Ends On High

The season started in July but the probability of a full season was low.  The team was happy to be on the pitch after being cooped up for 4 months due to the pandemic.  Coach Durrett wasn’t sure what to expect when he showed up for the first practice.  There was a lot of conditioning

JV Boys Soccer Fall to Decatur

Opening night came for the Achaean Boys’ Soccer Team on Tuesday evening at Kuntz Stadium.  We can all exhale and have some fun now.  A couple miscues in the first half by Herron led to a deficit of 0-2 at halftime.  Herron’s defense held strong in the second half while the offense was able to

Boys JV Soccer coming together

12 minutes left in the game against West Vigo in the PCR Tourney and the score is still 0-0.  What happened in the next 4 minutes is just bad luck.  Three goals were given up, two off corner kicks and one from a free kick.  All three could have been cleared but playing with only

Boys JV continue to grow vs Chatard

With practices rained out and early dismissal, Herron JV Boys came out rusty against Bishop Chatard.  And then the injury bug hit.  Players were put in positions they were not used to playing but they did as well.  They continue to grow as a team and continue to compete.  We will be participating in the

JV Boys Soccer fall to Greenfield Central 0-7

The JV Boys Soccer Achaeans played aggressive and team oriented in the first half. While several were playing their first high school action, there were others playing their first game in a couple years or ever. GC had Herron on their heels early but Sophomore goalie Gabe Pawlowski was up to the task. With 10
