Boys Track Sectional Competition

Last night was the final season competition for our Herron Boys Track and Field team, and the pushed hard for every point and place received. Sectionals Week!

The Girls team competed at Sectionals on Tuesday and proved that all the work this season paid off! It was a nail-biter of a meet, with Herron holding strong in 6th place all night and ultimately finishing 8th. Rachel Bowling highlighted by placing 2nd in the Pole Vault with a Regional qualifying vault of 9’6″.

Freshman City

Last Saturday the Freshmen represented! With 4 girls and and 8 boys, we finished 2nd and and 3rd respectively. Highlights were Aubrey Myers and Stephanie Ish both running personal bests and school record times in the 400m! Myers at 1:04.33 and Ish at 1:05.64. City Championships Continue

The Boys competed on Wednesday, finishing in 5th place out of 14 scoring schools and only 9 points away from Bishop Chatard! Awesome job, guys! City Championships

This week the Herron Achaeans compete in the City Championships at Arsenal Tech!   The Girls competed on Monday, finishing in 6th place only missing 5th by a sliver of a point. Great job ladies! Eastern Hancock Invitational

The Herron Track Teams competed at the Eastern Hancock Invitational yesterday and dominated the field! The Herron Lady Achaeans Track team competed on Friday, March 3 at the Whiteland HSR Qualifier. With approximately 14 other schools competing for a spot a the Hoosier State Relays, the Lady Achaeans showed up and made their presence known.
